Netanyahu confirms that the attack on Qatar was "independent" and not coordinated with Trump.

Following a wave of reports pointing to coordination with the United States, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu clarified that the attack against Hamas leaders in Doha was carried out solely by Israel.

In a statement released on the Israeli Prime Minister 's official account on X, Netanyahu stated:

“Today's action against Hamas's top terrorist leaders was a completely independent operation by Israel. Israel initiated it, Israel conducted it, and Israel bears full responsibility .”

The statement comes after reports that President Donald Trump had given the green light to the operation, intensifying the international controversy.

Qatar's Foreign Ministry reiterated its condemnation of the attack, which it called a " flagrant violation of international law ," and announced it had launched a high-level investigation.

Doha reported that residential buildings were hit during the operation , where members of Hamas's political bureau were stationed.

Al Jazeera, citing spokesmen for the Islamist group, reported that the Hamas delegation in Qatar survived the bombing , even though the attacks targeted its negotiators in the ceasefire talks with Israel.
